Aaron has been building and fixing things since the age of 10. By the time he was in high school, he was woodworking, cultivating a large vegetable and flower garden, and repairing cars and all things mechanical around his parents' home. While in college, working toward a Mechanical Engineering degree, Aaron worked for a general contractor as a laborer on residential and commercial properties completing demolition, building fences, rough framing and installing drywall. He also worked as a draftsman for a large architectural firm, and finally for Southern Pacific Railroad as a maintenance engineer. He then invested 33 years designing, testing, and managing engineering teams developing commercial vehicles for the two largest truck manufacturers in North America.
During the course of the last 30 years, Aaron has done extensive work maintaining, repairing, expanding and remodeling his own properties, including: (3) bathroom remodels, all things plumbing and electrical, designed and built (3) large cedar decks, landscaped three homes (hardscapes, plantings, surface recontouring), installed sub-slab active radon mitigation, installed solid hardwood and vinyl floors, built a freestanding cultured stone wood stove hearth and backwall, installed (2) skylights, a myriad of drywall repairs and replacement, installed custom interior wood trim, installed a 4' x 60' paver walkway, built a sizable pond with stream, lifted and built a new foundation for a sinking outbuilding slab, installed a hardwired remote farm gate opener 450' from main power, and managed 10 acres of mature 140' tall fir trees for firewood and forest health and development.
Suffice to say, Aaron is a problem solver who likes challenges, fixing things and getting his hands dirty.
